GULLIED BUTTE - BADLANDS
Rain water pouring over the edge of Colorado's Grand MESA, causes
serious erosion of the soft SEDIMENTARY ROCKS. Fortunately the
development of BADLANDS is confined to the MESA edges and has
not affected the farming land below.
