GLACIAL LAKES
A landscape that has been eroded and scoured by GLACIERS during
former colder periods is often a chaotic mess of cliffs, irregular
slopes, waterfalls and lakes. Strange shaped lakes litter the
areas where irregular hollows eroded by moving ice have become
filled with water. In the distance are the famous Lakes of Killarney
in Ireland, Europe.
