SAND DUNES & WIND RIPPLES
SAND DUNES as made by build-ups of wind blown sand. They move,
they change, they grow and they shrink. It all depends on the
wind direction, the wind strength and on how much sand is free.
The RIPPLE MARKS are made by very light winds (breezes) altering
the surface of the sand dunes.
